Patrick Dempsey, the popular American ''Grey's Anatomy'' famed actor has spent a lot of time in the industry to create a solid fan following. His upcoming movie ''Bridget Jones's Baby'' will be released on Sep. 16, 2016.

This movie is written by Helen Fielding, David Nicholls, and Emma Thompson and is based on the fictional columns by Fielding. This British romantic comedy will be directed by Sharon Maguire and Universal Pictures will distribute it in the UK initially. ''Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason'' was released in 2004 and this movie will be the third instalment in the franchise.

Renée Zellweger and Colin Firth will reprise their roles as respective roles of Bridget Jones and Mark Darcy.  Patrick Dempsey will appear in a new character and the fans are waiting to see the magic. The plot of the movie revolves around the breakup of Bridget Jones with Mark Darcy and the entrance of a new man in Jones's life Jack Qwant (played by Patrick Dempsey). At forty when Bridget found herself single again, she surrounded herself with her new and old friends and chose to concentrate on her career. However, the plans completely are thrown haywire with the blooming romance between Qwant and Jones and she gets pregnant. However, she is not sure about who is the father of the child.
