The members of IOI's first subunit have finally been announced.

On June 10, IOI's agency YMC Entertainment made a post on the group's official website stating that the subunit would have seven members: Jeon Somi, Choi Yoojung, Kim Chungha, Kim Sohye, Ju Kyulkyung, Kim Doyeon, and Im Nayoung. 

Luckily, the subunit's debut is not far off. According to YMC, they are scheduled to begin promoting on SBS's The Show on June 18. 

Since IOI has 11 members total, only four are not part of the subunit. 

IOI's agency commented with, "The subunit members are currently working hard to bring out a new side of themselves." 

"Three of the four members that were not included, Kim Saejeong, Kang Mina, and Jeong Chaeyeon, will head back to the original companies and rejoin activities ars members of those groups," YMC added, explaining that the other members will still be busy. 

However, that leaves one more member: Starship Entertainment trainee Yoo Yeonjeong. YMC also revealed what she would be doing. "Yeongjeong will return to Starship where she will continue practicing, using the skills she learned while with IOI as a foundation for growth."
