October is comeback month as this past Tuesday gave yet another epic comeback. After a year Korean-American singer Ailee released her fourth mini-album 'A New Empire'. This album consists of six tracks featuring her newest single 'Home'.

The music video for 'Home' was released October 4^th, and it features a dark crimson and black aesthetic with several retro elements. Ailee looks fabulous as usual, sporting a more hip-hop look as well as high fashion gowns. 'Home' explores the darker elements of love and longing as the song and music video portrays more emotion communicated through Ailee's powerful vocals.

This album presents Ailee with a new sound as she tries to mix Pop with R&B. Hoping that people will recognize her as an artist, Ailee experimented with various genres and sounds. The new mini-album will also display Ailee's talent for songwriting and composing.

If 'Home' speaks for the rest of the mini album then we should expect it to be a little sexier and thematically experimental with R&B elements. 'A New Empire' was released through Mnet's M!Countdown October 5^th. The mini album features Yoon Mirae, Eric Nam and Tak ofBaechigi.
