EXO's Kai Says Lay Will Join Group in Japan, Dishes Out on Health

A few days have passed since EXO's Lay had fallen unconscious at the Incheon International Airport and the fans fear that the singer would be unable to participate in the concert which will be held by the group in Japan. However, in a 'Naver V Live' broadcast, fellow group member Kai told fans that Lay 'will be joining' the group for their concert which would take place on October 13 and 14 at the Makomanai Sekisui Heim Ice Arena in Hokkaido.

Kai also revealed that while their flight got a little delayed, they immediately departed for Japan after taking Lay to the hospital.

"Lay hyung is ill and didn't get on the plane with us. I know you all must be worried, but I think he's okay. He will probably take a flight here tomorrow." The 22-year old singer explained. Lay has been resting since he had lost consciousness which had resulted from lack of sleep.

Lay, who had just released his solo track 'What U Need', had been quite busy working on his upcoming solo album which probably contributed to his weakened health. But it isn't just Lay who has had health issues, Kai himself had injured his leg in one of the group's rehearsals back in March and has been recovering since then. He temporarily shied away from the limelight as he struggled with keeping up with EXO's live performances.

When asked about his own condition, the singer says "My leg is much better. It's about 90% recovered. I can dance now. I went through physical therapy about 3 hours a day. Don't worry about me."

He had earlier announced through a heartfelt letter to his fans that he was back to dancing. Kai's girlfriend, f(x)'s Krystal, also assured the fans that her boyfriend has mostly recovered from the injury and is now doing well.

However, EXO's manager is somewhat still worried about his condition. "My manager Hyung is watching over my broadcast right now. He must be worried about me. But I think I'll do well. It's not something too difficult."
