“Sweet Stranger and Me” is the drama that replaced “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” as Monday and Tuesday drama on KBS2. The drama that tells refreshing story about family premiered Oct. 24, and started to gain interest from both domestic and international viewers

The new KBS2 drama “Sweet Stranger and Me” was literally titled “The Man Living in My House” for 우리집에 사는 남자 (Oori Jibe Saneun Namja). Premiered on Oct. 24, the drama substituted “Moonlight Drawn by Clouds” as a Monday and Tuesday drama.

“Sweet Stranger and Me” tells the story of a stewardess Hong Na-Ri who went to her mother’s house 10 months after her mother died. Few months later, she found out there is a young man named Go Nan-Gil live there and took care his mother’s dumpling restaurant.

Nan-Gil claimed to be her stepfather. Apparently he used to work in the dumpling restaurant, fell in love with Na-Ri’s mother and ended up marrying her. He now owns the house.

Na-Ri’s was dumbfounded and refusing the fact. But after seeing how Nan-Gil behave and his sincerity she began to accept him as her stepfather, even though Nan-Gil is younger than her.

Veteran actress Park Soo-Ae, or known by her stage name Soo-Ae was cast as Na-Ri along with Kim Young-Kwang as Nan-Gil. Soo-Ae was famous as spy in the SBS drama “Athena: Goddes of War,” a spin-off of espionage thriller drama “IRIS” in 2010.

Entering the second week, “Sweet Stranger and Me” dropped its high viewership rating which reached 10.6 percent in Nielsen Korea and 9.9 percent in TnMS. But the drama is predicted to attract more steady viewers from domestic and international.
