Desiigner, Tory Lanez and more American rappers react to G-Dragon and CL

G-Dragon and CL have a lot in common. They come from the same label, YG Entertainment, and are both leaders of their respective groups. Both of them also belong to highly successful idol groups mainly BIGBANG and 2NE1. But what they have most in common is the fact that they are both notorious rappers willing to break free from the social norms of Korean society and culture and the risks they have taken have ultimately led them towards superstardom. Surely, the two are famous in South Korea and in several other parts of the world. But while they have both been recognized in the US, a lot of Americans still don't know about them.

Just recently, SBS Popasia reports that both G-Dragon and CL were featured in a video made by 88rising on their YouTube channel where popular American rappers were given the chance to react to them for the first time. In the video, you will see rappers Ghostface Killah, Desiigner, 21 Savage, GoldLink, Lil Yachty, Jazz Cartier, Cam'ron and Flatbush Zombies react to CL and G-Dragon's solos MVs "Good Boy" and "Hello Bitches," as reported by Allkpop. And their reactions are definitely as colorful as K-Pop videos.

The rappers had only kind words to say about the two rappers. They were quick to compliment on the production of the music videos, the choreography and almost everything their music videos contained. You would see in their faces a colorful array of expressions from surprise, happiness and awe. In fact 21 Savage even referred to G-Dragon as an "Asian Chris Brown."

When asked to choose between the two, their decisions were mostly split while there are others that opted not to choose between G-Dragon and CL. "I don't want no beef when I go to Korea pickin' one of these people man." Cam'ron said in the video.

If you want to find out who the majority picked, you'd have to watch the video for yourselves. As of late, 88rising has given much attention to the Korean hip hop culture so make sure to check their channel out.

G-Dragon is currently busy with his group, BIGBANG, preparing for their comeback this November while CL has recently gone on a North American tour, hoping to break into the US mainstream music.
