Suicide Squad's Joker May Secretly be a K-Pop Fan as He Features TWICE, EXO's Sehun and JYJ's Jaejoon on Snapchat

It is true that when Psy first skyrocketed to fame in the US, everyone and their mothers turned their eyes towards K-Pop. K-Pop had finally broken into the US mainstream music and everyone loved it, for a while that is. However, even before Psy entered the fold, k-pop was already a powerful force in the Asian music scene. With the advent of the Korean Wave and its initiators, Korean culture quickly spread all throughout Asia. K-pop had gained significant fan bases in several parts of the world such as Latin America, Europe, Australia and well, Asia of course. Now, it seems that K-Pop's influence had converted another fan and this time it's Jared Leto, the guy who portrayed Joker in the hit film "Suicide Squad".

In an article published by Koreaboo, it would appear that Jared Leto may secretly be a k-pop fan after his recent Snapchat story featured a number of k-pop artists mainly JYJ's Jaejoong, EXO's Sehun and the popular rookie group TWICE.

If you still don't know who Jared Leto, he is an Oscar-award winning actor who starred in a number of films such as Suicide Squad, Dallas Buyers Club, Mr. Nobody and Fight Club. Not only that, Jared Leto is also the front man and lead singer of the rock band Thirty Seconds to Mars. It is quite remarkable how an A-lister such as Jared Leto would know of k-pop or may even be a fan of it.

Fans were quick to praise Leto for his taste in K-pop artists.

Jared Leto isn't the only one who has noticed k-pop artists before. In fact there are a number of Hollywood celebrities who have worked with k-pop artists before such as Skrillex, Diplo, Will.I.Am, Pharrell Williams, Far East Movement and many more.

While k-pop may not be popular in the US, but the rest of the world sure is more accepting. And soon enough, k-pop will definitely break into the US, with considerable help from social media. Just this October, Billboard reports that BTS's 'Blood, Sweat and Tears' is the highest viewed k-pop video in America for the month of October with TWICE's 'TT' in second lead. This just means that there has been a considerable increase in interest for k-pop.

CL, of the internationally successful k-pop group 2NE1, had also gone on a North American tour beginning in New York and has recently been featured in CNN Style. The singer-rapper is said to be on the verge of breaking into the US and it really isn't hard to believe that.

Surely, there is no stopping k-pop as it strives to conquer the world.
