tvN release new still image from ‘Goblin’ drama featuring BtoB member Sungjae

After releasing series of still images from two lead actors in “Goblin” Lee Dong-Wook and Gong Yoo, tvN publish promotonal image featuring the supporting male character played by idol group BtoB member Sung Jae.

The image, which was released this week, shows Sung Jae in a light gold colored suit in a terrace of a house. Another picture portrayed him with the lead characters Lee and Gong Yoo.

Sung Jae plays as the heir of a wealthy family who had taken care of famous goblin Kim Shin played by Gong Yoo for generations. A  new still image from "Goblin" has also attracted Seoul Daily News, that took note of this latest still image.

Previousl,y tvN has published many images focusing on the two lead actors  Lee and Gong Yoo. Furthermore, “Goblin” will be their first time to play together. Therefore that will be a good promotion for the drama.

Supporting actor Sung Jae is widely known as a member of BtoB boy group which debuted in 2012. The seven-member group is managed under Cube Entertainment and has published one album titled “Complete” in 2015.

BtoB was originally consist of five members, Seo Eun-Kwang, Lee Min-Hyuk, Lim Hyun-Sik, Jung Il-Hoon and Lee Min-Woo when they were formed in 2012. However Min-Woo was dropping out due to health issue. Afterward, three other members including Sung Jae joined in prior to their debut.

Aside from his singing ability, Sung Jae also went into acting. His first project was in the second installment of well-known tvN’s “Reply” trilogy “Reply 1994” in 2013.

In "Reply 1994" he played with acclaimed veteran actor Song Dong-Il and actress Lee Il-Hwa as one of the college students who rented a room in their house. Although he is still new in acting, “Goblin” will be a very good opportunity for Sung Jae to sharpen his acting with two distinguished actors.
