Gugudan’s Sejeong achieves all kill with solo song ‘Flower Path’

IOI and Gugudan member Sejeong has achieved an all kill with her first solo song "Flower Path". "Flower Path" is produce by Zico and was half made on the variety show "Talents For Sale" while Sejeong read her letter for her mom. It is also officially the third song for Jellyfish Entertainment's project "Jelly Box"

As soon as Sejeong's song "Flower Road" was released, the track reached number 1 on the real-time charts of Naver Music, Mnet, Olleh Music and Genie. By 5AM KST on November 23, the track reached number 1 on 7 charts including Melon and Bugs. It also achieved two roof top hits on Melon.

It was said that Kim Sejeong cried when she was informed about the song's excellent performance on music charts. A staff from Jellyfish Entertainment said Sejeong with the staff cried after learning that the song hit number one on many music charts.

Maybe because the lyrics of the song, "How much rain fell in your eyes to raise a single flowers?" and, "Even when the winter comes, my heart is filled with the scent of spring because of your love that never withers," has hit the listeners' hearts and mind as Sejeong thinks of her mom when singing.

The music video for the track was also released along with the track and features a split screen of the past and the present. The younger Kim Se Jeong is helped by her mother while the older Kim Se Jeong has become more independent.

Meanwhile, Kim Se Jeong will begin actively promoting Jelly Box′s 3rd track Flower Road through a variety of music program appearances. She will be on KBS' "Music Bank" on November 25 and on SBS' "Inkigayo" on this November 27. Her co-Gugudan member Nayoung will be present at SBS' "Inkigayo"as she will have a special performance with some other girl group members.

IOI fans and Gugudan fans are really happy that Sejeong is doing well with her first solo song.
