Acclaimed actor Ma Dong-Seok will star in the new movie “Derailed,” which will be released next week. He is accompanied by Shinee member, Choi Min-Ho, and a member of idol group 2Eyes, Jung Da Eun.

Choi plays as runaway teenager Jin-il and he befriends a girl named Ga-Young (Jung). They supported each other's needs by working part-time jobs and stealing.

One day, Ga-Young seduces a middle-aged man (Ma) to extort money from him, but things turned backward. The man takes Ga-Young hostage as she and Jin-Il failed to get the money from him. The story develops from the conflict between the man and Jin-Il.

“Derailed” was first premiered in the 1st Busan International Film Festival, as reported by KBS News. The movie will be released commercially on November 30.

The movie’s title literally means “two men” (두 남자= Doo Namja). But the production company MCMC prefer to use “Derailed” as its English title, and Kidari Entertainment holds the distribution rights of the movie.

Ma and Choi actively promoted the crime action film. On November 22, they appeared on the Naver V App Spot Live Cast, as reported by News1. They talked about the movie and shared their story in filming the movie.

Prior to their Naver live cast, Ma and Choi were invited on the KBS “Entertainment Weekly’ talkshow on Monday, November 21. They shared their story during the filming.

Choi shared the story how he must learn to smoke to play a rough runaway teenager. He also said that his role required him to curse a lot, which may damage his good image as member of Shinee. However, he choose to be professional as an actor than maintaining the image of a good boy.

Ma, for his part, shared his opinion about cute nicknames, which his fans gave him. He said that from many nicknames, he liked the one Kim Hye-Soo gave her better than others.
