2PM Taecyon Would Date Gui Gui But Maybe She Prefers Nickhun

Viewers of "We Got Married: Global Edition," think that singer-turned-actor Taecyeon and his pretend wife, Taiwanese singer-turned-actress Gui Gui make a lovely couple.

Taecyeon and his pretend wife had such a good time on the show that he was convinced he wanted to date her in real life. But he had not yet gotten around to asking her out. And maybe that was a good thing.

In the last episode, the couple were visited by some of his friends, ZE:A's Kwanghee, MBLAQ's G.O. and 2AM's Seulong. G.O. asked Taecyeon if he would consider dating Gui Gui in real life and, given the great time they had together, Taecyeon said he would.

But unfortunately, when Gui Gui was asked the same question, she said no.

Poor Taecyeon. How did he call it so wrong?

"I thought we were making new memories and having a great time together, but I think Gui Gui sees it all ending soon," said the 2PM singer. "I don't really know what I am supposed to do if Gui Gui thinks out current relationship cannot develop any further beyond this point."

Gui Gui must have realized that she hurt his feelings, so she later said, "I had no idea that Taecyeon would say yes."

She saw cultural differences as a problem.

"I thought he would say no since our lifestyles are so different, but today was the first time I saw him look disappointed," said Gui Gui.

Well, not the first time. During an interview at a press conference for the show, Gui Gui was asked which 2PM member was her favorite and she replied "Nickhun." Taecyeon then said that this made him jealous, but even though he was joking, it might have given him a clue as to what his odds were.

On "We Got Married," celebrities pretend to live life as a married couple and see if they could make a go of it in real life. In the international edition, the couples must also learn about each other's countries and overcome cultural differences. The other couple on the global edition of this show is singer and actor Lee Hong Ki and Japanese actress Fujii Mina.

Gui Gui was a member of the Taiwanese girl group, Hey You. Taecyeon has appeared in two dramas, "Cinderella's Sister" and "Dream High." Hopefully the two can at least remain good friends.
