BEAST's Yong Junhyung talked about his first acting experience in the upcoming drama, "Monstar."

At 'Monstar' press conference held on May 13, the first-time actor shared his thoughts.

"Because the character is a musician like myself in real life, it was much easier to act. But in general, it was a difficult learning experience. Especially, it was very tough in the beginning. But as momentum started to pick up and all the staff members continued to support me, it became a lot better," said Yong Junhyung.

Asked whether other BEAST members give each other advice on acting, he replied, "We do not really advise each other. But everyone is truly helpful in making their schedules flexible to fit our team activities in. They do encourage me a lot in many ways."

Interestingly, Yong Junhyung was compared to JYJ Yoochun by producer Kim Won Suk who produced 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' in which JYJ Yoochun starred.

Yong Junhyung replied, "I am under a lot of pressure because of that comment. Other fans might not like it, but producer Kim said we do have similarities."

The 12-episode drama will premiere on May 17.
