The 2016 winter special album 'For Life'  which dropped on December 19th, has since sold 425,000 copies and counting. Since their 3rd album release earlier this summer, 'EX'ACT' and 'LOTTO' has sold about 1,451,000 copies . In addition, the solo and unit sales have contributed to the group's yearly success. Sub-unit EXO-CBX's mini-album 'Hey Mama!' sold about 276,000 albums, and Lay's first solo album 'LOSE CONTROL' sold about 260, 000 copies. As of December 27th, the powerhouse group has sold an astounding 2.13 million albums in 2016 which is a remarkable achievement!

EXO has a known track record of exceeding one million albums sales and are known as a "triple million seller." In addition to their high album sales, each of the members have been active in various fields over the course of 2016. The boys have gotten to collaborate with some big names in music. For example, the members got to collaborate with variety God, Yoo Jae Suk with the song, 'Dancing King.' Lead vocal, Baekhyun teamed up with Miss A's Suzy to release the hit single, 'Dream.' And rapper Chanyeol, was featured in Far East Movement's single, 'Freal Love.' Main vocalist Chen lent his sweet voice for the OST 'Everytime' which was featured in the popular drama, 'Descendants Of The Sun.' Chen also teamed up with fellow members, Baekhyun and Xiumin for the OST release, 'For You' from 'Scarlet Heart: Goryeo.' And just recently, Chanyeol teamed up with Punch to release the OST, 'Stay With Me,' for the smash hit drama 'Goblin.'

However, their popularity doesn't stop there! EXO has also proved their talent as triple threats by taking on diverse acting roles. The movie, 'My Annoying Brother' which stars actor-dol, D.O. has hit 3 million viewers since it's release. Kai is also actively involved in the current web drama, '7 First Kisses.'

EXO will be ending 2016 with a bang by performing at the upcoming end of year festivals, '2016 KBS Song Festival' on December 29th and the 'MBC Gayo Daejejeon' on December 31st.
