2NE1 Giving Farewell To Their Fans With 'Good Bye'

2NE1's CL, Sandara Park, and Park Bom are coming back for the one last time.

YG Entertainment did officially confirm about the disbandment of 2NE1 last November but three of the members reunited in secret and filmed a music video as reported in asianjunkie.

On January 5, YG Entertainment announced, "As 2NE1 were not able to say a final goodbye to fans due to their sudden disbandment, they plan to send a song." They also added, "2NE1 was much-loved, not just in Korea, but all around the world, and they will be saying their official last goodbyes through this upcoming song."

Minzy left the group last year in November. CL, Sandara Park and Park Bom have finished the recording and the filmed music video too.

2NE1 was a South Korean girl group which was formed under YG Entertainment in 2009. Their debut song was 'Fire' which was released in May. On July 2012 along with their full mini-album, the final promotional single 'Ugly' and its music came out which was a major success. It topped the Gaon Chart selling over 85,000 copies by years end.

They made their Japanese debut in the year 2011 with the Japanese version of their second Korean extended play titled 'Noiza'.

2NE1 won China's '2016 Korea First Brand Grand Prize' award for "Top Most Anticipated K-Stars of 2016."

The news of 2NE1 getting abandoned came out in November 2016. Their contract with YG Entertainment ended in May. Gong Minzy left YG and signed another label which made 2NE1 left with three members who had a long discussion before they came to the decision to disband the group as reported in soompi.

Although the decision has been made but CL and Sandara Park made a decision to stay with YG and pursue the solo activities.

Their last track "GOOD BYE" will be out on January 21, 2017.
