Nam Tae Hyun is a South Korean singer-songwriter and actor. He is also known as Taehyun who is former member of the boy group Winner. He was actively involved in the production and composition of the group's tracks.

In 2011, prior to being a member of Winner, Nam performed as a backup dancer for the YG Family Concert.

He participated in the reality program, WIN: Who is Next as a trainee in "Team A", which went to debut as Winner in 2013. He co-composed and co-wrote 2 songs that were used to compete on the show.

Nam made a cameo appearance in label-mate Taeyang's music video for Ringa Linga. He took part in Winner's own variety program, Winner TV which aired on Mnet in December.

In 2014, he co-composed 3 songs from the album, including his solo track Confession which was written by him. The album topped several charts including the Gaon Music Chart as well as the Billboard's World Album Chart.

Along with other members, Nam appeared in shows such as Weekly Idol and You Hee-yeol's Sketchbook to promote their songs.

Nam made his acting performance in the web drama Midnight Girl in 2015 when the group was on hiatus.

Nam released the single "Pricked" in January 2016 in collaboration with Mino as a warm-up track ahead of Winner's comeback mini-album Exit:E.

To compose his band, Nam Tae Hyun is presently looking for members to his band.

He created Tumblr few days ago and posted a message stating that he intends to make his own band.

Later he also posted a recruitment post with the title, "(Band) Recruiting male instrumentalists."

He wrote that anyone can mail him if he knows to play guitar, drum, bass or piano. Interested may give a short introduction, a clip of playing your instruments and a photo (all three are needed). He also mentioned that it would be best if the song is played by his SoundCloud, but the aspirants can perform their own too. The aspirants must know any one of the four instruments. The applicant must write the form in Korean. Nam wrote he would reply only after going through the application. This project may be terminated at any time.
