Block B Releases Teasers For 'Yesterday' Ahead Of Comeback

Idol group Block B confirmed their comeback this year and has now released the first teasers. The title of their new release is "Yesterday" which is said to be a follow up for their song "Toy". The previous song was released last year as part of the group's fifth mini album "Blooming Period".

Officiallykmusic reports that the title song "Yesterday" will have a similar color scheme as their famous song "Her" which was released on 2014. Block B released group and individual teaser images last January 30 ahead of their comeback.

According to Soompi, the solo teasers gave the members a chance to show their individual colors and styles while the group image shows the member's chemistry while having fun with one another. The teaser images revealed bright and fun colors adding excitement to fans all over the world.

The title track "Yesterday" was written and composed by Block B member Park Kyung. Many speculations arose that the main purpose of the song was not for a comeback but rather for the upcoming fan meeting on February 11. Block B's Park clarified that the song "Yesterday" is not song made purposely for the fan meeting but a song he worked hard to create.

The South Korean idol group consists of seven members namely Tae-il, B-Bomb, Jae Hyo, U Kwon, Park Kyung, P.O. and leader Zico. Block B was created by Cho PD last 2011 and debuted with the song "Freeze". The group received a lot of criticisms and controversies even leading to their leader Zico to shave his head.

The group returned to the music scene in October 2012 and released their title track "Nillili Mambo" which ranked 10 on Billboard's World Albums Chart but went on hiatus when they filed a suit against their agency in 2013. The group filed the suit in order for their contract to be nullified as the company had not paid the group for a year. In the latter part of 2013, the group transferred agencies and moved from Stardom to Seven Seasons. The group then released songs such as "Very Good", "Nice Day", "Her", "Jackpot" and many more which solidified the group as "Hallyu" stars.

The song "Yesterday" will be released on February 06. Are you all excited for the group's comeback?
