The comeback single of BTS or the Bangtan Boys has set a new record for reaching 20 million views on youtube at the fastest time. The views for the MV of "Spring Day" which was only uploadd last February 12 has already passed the 20 million mark and has currently been viewed by close to 22 million viewers.

Smashing viewing records is not a new feat for BTS since it can be recalled that their "Blood, Sweat and Tears" video set the record for 40 million views on youtube late last year. However, this time around, the record involves reaching 20 million views at the fastest time.

According to Soompi, the group broke its "Blood, Sweat and Tears" record and set the new bar for most number of views in 24 hours. It proceeded to break the record set by Twice's "TT" for the fastest time to reach 10 million views.

The "Sping Day" video breached the 20 million mark 3 days, 15 hours and 50 minutes beating out the previous record also set by Twice's ""TT" which reached the same number of views in 4 days 18 hours and 14 minutes.

Aside from the amazing song, fans have become intrigued by the meaning of the symbolisms used in the various setting of the music video. Among the setting was a train track, a beach, a carousel, a desert, a spiral staircase, a hotel room and a mountain of old clothes.

A tweet from a fan @zrenkarts speculated that the mounatin of clothes may have been inspired by the artwork of French artist Christian Boltanski entitled "Personnes" which is a deeper look at the subjects of moratlity and man's fate. If this theory will be confirmed, then it would mean that "Spring Day" is not just be a simple song about longing, distance and heartbreak but may even go so far as tackling a more permanent separation for a darker reason.

Many fans have praised the "Sping Day" video for its excellent cinematography which takes the viewers to different places and showcases their favorite BTS members from Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Rap Monster, Jimin, V and Jungkook. The mountain of clothes has become a constant topic among threads and social media.
