The upcoming tvN drama, "The Liar and His Lover" has released its main teaser video featuring Red Velvet's Joy and Lee Hyun Woo as major cast members. The trailers also showcased the two meeting up for a date at a cafe. Judging from the trailer, it seems Red Velvet's Joy will be late for a date with Lee Hyun Woo.

In the latest teaser video for "The Liar and His Lover," Joy is shown running with her guitar slung over her shoulder, while she told Lee Hyun Woo sorry as she thinks she is going to be a little late. Allkpop reports that Lee Hyun Woo then warmly responded saying it okay as he will be late too.

However, "The Liar and His Lover" video teaser reveals that when joy arrived at their meeting spot, she quickly tries to fix her hair but then she found that Lee Hyun Woo was already there. He was already taking a cup of coffee which prompted Joy to call him a liar.

The trailer for "The Liar and His Lover" revealed joy speaking to herself that: "You were already here, Lies." Amid all of these, she introduces herself with the same monologue from a previous trailer of "The Liar and His Lover," which is "I found someone I like. He's my first love," Soompi reported.

According to the storyline, "The Liar and His Lover" is the story of a genius songwriter who prefers to hide his identity and a talented vocalist who he is deeply in love with. It will premiere in March after "Introverted Boss."
