Latest updates reveal that actor Yoo Seung Ho has debunk rumors of being cast in new drama.  Rumors have been swirling around recently that Yoo Seung Ho will be appearing in an upcoming movie entitled "Monster" (working title).

However, Yoo Seung Ho's management agency, San Entertainment on Feb. 27, 2017 released a press statement with regards to the rumors stating that Yoo Seung Ho will be casting in the upcoming drama, "Monster." It is reported by Soompi that in the press statement, the agency stated that are yet to even receive a proposal for Yoo Seung Ho potential casting in the upcoming movie, "Monster."

According to recent reports, the actor is currently focusing on the filming of his upcoming drama titled "Ruler: Master of the Mask." However, it was previously reported that Girl's Day's Hyeri is also considering a role in the upcoming drama.

According to reports, the storyline of the upcoming drama titled "Monster" will be based on a real-life story that centers on the Joseon Dynasty. In "Monster," viewers will see the king of Joseon Dynasty move his palace due to the appearance of a monster in the royal court.

Yoo Seung Ho's upcoming drama "Ruler: Master of the Mask," is centered around a Crown Prince Lee Sun (Yoo Seung-Ho) in the 1700's, who battles against Pyunsoo hwe. According to Allkpop, Pyunsoo hwe is a powerful and wealthy organization that has accumulated power and wealth through privatizing water all over Joseon.

The Crown Prince Lee Sun becomes the only hope for the people who do not have the power to go against this organization. According to the storyline, Crown Prince Lee Sun loves a woman named Ga-Eun, who helps him grow as a ruler.

Filming of "Ruler: Master of the Mask" began in December 2016.The upcoming drama is being directed by No Do Cheol and Park Won Gook. It was penned by Park Hye Jin and Jung Hae Ri and will be having 20 Episodes (TBC). First script reading of "Ruler: Master of the Mask" took place Dec. 23, 2016 at MBC Broadcasting Station in Sangam, South Korea.

The upcoming drama is expected to air starting from May 2017, Wednesdays & Thursdays at 22:00. "Ruler: Master of the Mask" will take over the MBC slot previously occupied by "Self Radiation Office." In addition, Yoo Seung Ho's upcoming MBC drama titled "Ruler: Master of the Mask," which will also feature actor Kim So Hyun, will premiere in May 2017.
