Yoo Ah In To Undergo His 4th Medical Re-Examination This Week: Will The Actor Ever Enlist in The Military?

Yoo Ah In is set to undergo another health examination to see to it whether he is fit or not to enlist in the military.

Soompi reported on March 10 that Yoo Ah In will be undergoing another health examination. This will be the actor's fourth medical health re-examination as it will determine whether he is fit to enlist in the military as mandated by South Korea's government.

Yoo Ah In's medical re-examination will be held on Wednesday, March 15. This was confirmed by his managing label, United Artist Agency.

A month ago, it was confirmed that Yoo Ah In is kind of sick. United Artist Agency confirmed in a statement that the 30-year-old actor has bone tumor.

United Artist Agency clarified the actors bone tumor is benign, not malignant. This means that the disease won't be affecting Yoo Ah In's daily life. The agency clarified this rumor because they did not want the actor's family and friends to get worried.

The agency also added that Yoo Ah In did suffer a separate fracture from the tumor and that the actor has quite some health issue. United Artist Agency also explained that the actor ultimately needed a re-examination for his enlistment.

Because of this, Yoo Ah In has created quite a stir in the K-pop community. According to All Kpop, fans are saying that the actor is just using his "tumor" to be exempted from the military service.

"My injury and the health condition that is currently creating controversies are my misfortune," clarified Yoo Ah In in his statement. "It is not a tool for me to avoid enlistment." 

In other news, Yoo Ah In will be the lead actor in tvN's upcoming drama "Chicago Typewriter" and will star with Im Soo Jung and Go Kyung Pyo. "Chicago Typewriter" will premiere sometime in April.
