Lee Min Ho is one of the top celebrities in China after appearing on the Hunan Satellite TV Variety program “Happy Camp”. The ratings for the January 14^th New Years Eve episode featuring Lee Min Ho was the highest rated program in two years , thus obviously the number one show in China that evening.

T.V. execs were sure to mention that the ”Happy Camp” ratings beat the ratings for the national Chinese drama “Starting Each Step”. The final episode of that show garnered 1.93% viewership while Lee Min Ho claimed 6.49%.

“Happy Camp” is a T.V. institution which showcased thousands of celebrities (from Korea, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan) throughout its run staring in 1997. The premise of “Happy Camp” is to make celebrities compete in challenges and interviews.
