‘Weekly Idol’: This Is What Highlight Should Do To Survive In The K-Pop Industry, According To KNK

Promoting under the new name after being 9 years in the industry, Highlight or formerly known as BEAST, might be considered as a rookie group compared to KNK, a group that was debuted in 2016. On MBC's "Weekly Idol", the boys of KNK pulled off seniority mode to give advice for the super rookie group, Highlight.

According to Allkpop, the show was recorded before Highlight promotes their comeback album under the new name. During the show, KNK members were asked to give an advice for the junior group that will debut then. When they were asked such, one of the members, Heejun couldn't help laughing as he said that Highlight should get comfortable on the broadcast.

It looks quite ironic when a group that debuted a year ago gives advice on how to survive in the music industry to a veteran group. However, the broadcast has successfully made fans and the guest stars involved in such jolly and entertaining nuance. The set became quite a laughing stock when KNK gave Highlight some advice on how to look cute and fresh. Some members of Highlight responded with cute antics that leave the fellow members and KNK surprised.

KNK wasn't only there to give some how-to advice to super rookie group Highlight. They were also asked to judge each Highlight member appearances and eventually decided which one of them is worthy to stand out among others, as per Soompi. At first, KNK seems to hesitate to give their answers considering it must be difficult for them to judge a group senior to them. The boys eventually picked Yang Yoseob as the member that will do well in the K-Pop industry.

Just so the other members don't get jealous, KNK also gave their appraisal to Junhyung for his fashion sense and Doojoon because he seems to like soccer. Even though their last answer didn't seem to make any sense, they had successfully garnered laughs on set.
