Bottle Thrown At Toots Causes Hibbert To Be Hospitalized: The Alleged Teen Who Threw The Bottle Has Been Arrested [VIDEO]

A bottle thrown at Toots leads to an arrest from a teen that allegedly throw a vodka bottle at "Toots" Hibbert during a Toots & The Maytals concert at the Dominion Riverrock festival Saturday night on Brown's Island in downtown Richmond, Va.

The bottle thrown at Toots struck the singer, causing him to take a trip to the hospital and thus ended the show.

William C. Lewis,19, of Henrico, Va. was charged with aggravated assault as the person responsible for a bottle thrown at Toots, Richmond Police said in a statement.

Toots went to Twitter to try and reach out for some help, and it might have helped find the alleged perpetrator.

"PLEASE HELP TOOTS RE: Richmond Virginia Show Bottle Throwing Incident: If you have ANY Video of the person" a tweet from Toots & The Maytals said.

Hopeton Hibbert, Toot's son and bass player in the band, told CBS 6 that his father was released from the hospital and on the way to New York Sunday. He said Hibbert ended up with 8 to 10 stitches on his head after he was hit by the vodka bottle.

Spectators were told to leave the concert once the bottle struck Toots.

There is a video of the bottle being thrown, which you can view here.
