2PM singer turned actor Taecyeon was recently interviewed by My Daily. The K-pop idol talked about his newest horror movie "House of the Disappeared".

Apparently, the reason Taecyeon decided to be a cast of "House of the Disappeared" was because of Kim Yun Jin. Kim Yun Jin was one of the major casts of the American TV series "Lost".

"The main reason I decided to star in 'House of the Disappeared' was because of Kim Yun Jin sunbae," said Taecyeon. Apparently, watching Kim Yun Jin act helped boost Taecyeon's self-esteem.

Taecyeon also talked about his role model J.Y. Park. He stated that J.Y. Park was one of the reasons why 2PM was able to celebrate their 10th year in the industry. Taecyeon also humbly added how he still has many things to learn.

To end the interview, Taecyeon voiced his passion for his group. He said that even if 2PM would disband in the far or near future, he would not lose his love for singing. "Though I am slowly transitioning into an actor, that doesn't mean I'm solely going to focus on acting, no," said Taecyeon.

In other news, Taecyeon recently appeared on SBS Power FM "Choi Hwa Jung's Power Time". As previously reported, Taecyeon discussed about his nearing enlistment in the military.

There is currently no exact date yet regarding Taecyeon's enlistment. However, he stated that it would be in the coming summer and that he would like to work on more projects before he does so.
