T-ara To Release Final Album in June: Insider Reports T-ara Members Will Not Be Renewing Contracts Anymore

An insider from T-ara's agency just revealed that the group will be releasing their album in June. Unfortunately, this will be the group's final one.

As reported by Koreaboo, the MBK Entertainment insider revealed that T-ara's last album will be released on June 1. This will be the group's last album since the contracts of 6 members will be expiring soon.

According to the same insider, the 6 members of T-ara will not be renewing their contract with MBK Entertainment. T-ara's contract will expire on May 15, with no news of where the members will be going.

"...we had to push back the album release from the initial May 17 projected date" said the MBK Entertainment insider. T-ara will be holding an album showcase a day before the album release on May 31.

T-ara debuted in July of 2009 at MBC's talks show "Radio Star". The group's first performance was on Mnet's "M! Countdown" on July 30 of the same year.

T-ara has only released one album since they debuted. The album is titled "Absolute First Album" which was released on Nov. 27, 2009.

T-ara's "Absolute First Album" contained 14 total tracks including "Bye Bye", "Tic Tic Toc", and "Apple is A". According to Wikipedia, the album's hit songs were "Lie", "TTL (Time to Love)", "Bo Peep Bo Peep", and "TTL Listen 2".

Since then T-ara has only been releasing mini albums and digital singles. "Again" was T-ara's 5th mini album released on October 10, 2013 which contained 5 tracks including "Hurt" and "Don't Get Married".

In September of 2014, T-ara released their 6th mini album titled "And & End" with 2 music videos. The mini album had the mixed element of electronic dance music or EDM.

T-ara's last concert tour was in China for their "Great China Tour". Their concert at the Mercedes-Benz Arena in Shanghai was attended by 8,500 people.
