Sistar Prepares For Upcoming Album This June

Hit K-pop girl group, Sistar, had just dubbed itself as the summer queen as they are preparing for a grand comeback with their soon to be released album this June. Reports have it that the group is preparing for an upcoming album, which they have partnered with Black Eyed Pilseung, a reputable production team.

This would then be the first album since "Insane Love", the group's successful EP, was released a year ago. Black Eyed Philseung has had a few couple music collaborations with Sistar, as they were also the one behind the group's "I Like That" and "Touch My Body".

Sistar has been in the K-pop lime light for quite some time now, as they have debuted in the industry way back in 2010. Known for their vibrant, energetic, and hot dance performances and songs, they managed to make it to the top of the music charts.

Sistar also successfully incorporated the moniker "summer queen" into their own branding and identity as they successfully released "Loving U", "Touch My Body", "Give it to Me", "Shake It" and "I Like That".

According to Yonhap News, as of now, the girl group has been lying low as its members pursued their respective solo careers. Its member, Hyolyn, has been busy with her recent album "It's Me", which was released last November.

She also had her own fair share of SXSW music festival in Texas, which had been her debut in the international stage. As well as signing with EDM music label, Spinnin' Records. According to The Korea Herald, her collaboration with rapper Changmo for "Blue Moon" also gave her a huge popularity boost.

Meanwhile, Soyou was busy with her solo acting career in "Love in the Moonlight" and "Guardian: The Lonely and Great God". She has also had a duet with EXO's Baekyhun in "Rain". Then here's Dasom who has been busy filming SBS's TV drama "Sister is Alive".

With all of these being said, let's wish Sistar the best of luck in ther grand comeback this June.
