NU'EST's Dong Ho's Father Passes

Kang Dong Ho, a member of now rising star boy group NU'EST and contestant on 'Produce IOI Season 2,' suffered as he discovered his father recently passed away at their home in Jeju Island on July 3rd.

The news of Dong Ho's father's death shocked everyone, including the star himself. Although details were not revealed about what the exact cause of death was, media has been labeling it as an accident.

In regards to the accident and Dong Ho's current condition, his agency, Pledis Entertainment, released the following statement.  "Kang Dong Ho's father passed away on the 3rd because of an accident. Kang Dong Ho went to Jeju Island as soon as he heard the news to attend to funeral matters."

Due to the trauma, Dong Ho will be taking a break for all further activities until further notice. He has currently left to his home on Jeju Island to grief in privacy and console his family members. He is also preparing funeral arrangements for July 6th. Pledis further commented saying, "Kang Dong Ho was very traumatized, and he's currently going through a hard time." We are all wishing him the best.

Recently, the songstress uploaded a picture of her standing next to a tarp of herself, which is beside a food truck that was sent to her filming set. Uaena, IU's official fan club name, remarked that her collarbone is somewhat more pronounced than before and her face looked smaller. Also, in the latest photo of her together with Sulli that the latter uploaded through her official Instagram account, the fans noticed that she looked much skinnier than usual and so they expressed their concern over her condition.

X1, ‘Produce X 101’ Project Group, Hits Billboard’s Social 50 and Emerging Artist Charts

Even before their official debut arrives, 11-member K-pop group X1 is already making ripples in the scene!
