Red Velvet's Wendy Addresses Comments About Her Extreme Weight Loss

By Edward Leary | July 25, 2017 05:42 PM EDT

Red Velvet's Wendy recently appeared on an airing of 'Lee Su Ji's Gayo Plaza' where she discussed a rather personal and sensitive topic for her.

Red Velvet's Wendy was known for being a little plush and chubby for an idol, but it never stopped or affected her career. However, Wendy was often harassed on social media and other personal SNS accounts about her weight. She even said she had read the negative comments of people discussing how fat she was compared to her members and how often she appeared on food related programs. Now, fans are doing the opposite and discussing just how much she lost and how scarily thin her body has become.

Wendy revealed, "I'm not on a diet now but I think I'm naturally losing weight." DJ Lee Su Ji asked if she even had any fat to lose? They laughed as Wendy continued on saying, "I used to be chubby when I was a trainee. I'm afraid I might go back to my old body so I automatically get conscious." Poor Wendy!

Fans commented and shared their worried thoughts with the idol saying, "I hope she focuses on being healthy rather than skinny though. :(," and "'Naturally losing weight??' What does that even mean?"

Although Wendy said otherwise, it seems she doesn't plan on gaining weight anytime soon and will continue to maintain her current weight with her latest diet/regimen. What do you think of Wendy's dramatic weightless? Great or disturbing?
