EXO's Lay Defaulted On Fares + Being Sued

Lay of EXO has been making headlines as it has been reported he is being sued due to defaulting on past-due fares.

The following message report has been circulating across social media platforms, mainly in China, due to Lay's high airfares. Lay hired an agent to purchase airplane tickets on two occasions for 11,050 yuan and 11,815 yuan totaling to 22,865 yuan (which is roughly $3,500). It was later reported he and his agency had failed to pay the full amount.

While the purpose and locations of his trips remain a mystery, Lay's party refused to pay for the airfare which forced the travel agency to sue him for over26,235 yuan, $4,000, with the additional 'financial loss' charges added into the total.

Lay's side followed up with the following statement saying,
"So far, we have not got any notice from the court or the plaintiff. Should we receive any notice from the court, we will pay the subject fees to the plaintiff first, followed by taking actions that will hold Liu Quan accountable. Your care and love for Zhang Yixing is greatly appreciated. The above is what we have known about this issue so far. The Studio is investigating for the truth and we will handle this issue in a serious manner based on facts."

No side has come to an agreement yet or payment plan. Stay tuned for more updates on this case.
