AB6IX to Hold First Asian Fan Meeting Tour, Sells Out Tickets for Opening Shows in Seoul

Rookie quintet AB6IX is proving that they're worth a spot in the fiercely competitive K-pop industry!

Earlier in June -- just two weeks since their official debut -- the group composed of Lim Young Min, Jeon Woong, Kim Dong Hyun, Park Woo Jin,  and Lee Dae Hwi, has announced that they are embarking on their first-ever fan meeting tour across Asia, "1st ABNEW."

The region-wide tour will take place in a span of one and a half months, kicking off with a two-day show at the Jamsil Arena in Seoul, South Korea. The tour opener, slated on July 13 and 14, has sold out all tickets in a short amount of time since ticket-selling began on June 5.

The monster rookie act's agency Brand New Music gladly announced the news in a statement: "We sincerely appreciate how AB6IX... has been No. 1 on music shows for consecutive days. We are also happy to announce that all the seats for their first fan meeting have been sold out. We ask fans to continue giving love and care to the group as they will continue to show more astounding performances and good music."

After Seoul, AB6IX will next croon fans in Tokyo, Japan through a one-night fan meeting at the Toyosu Pit on July 21. The week after, the gents of the newly launched group are slated to charm their growing following in Singapore with a show at The Star Theatre.

Their first Asian fan meet will also bring them to Taipei's NTSU Arena (August 10), Hong Kong's Awe Hall 11 (August 24), and Bangkok's Impact Hall 5 (August 31).

The boy band debuted back on May 22 with the launch of their mini-album, "B: Complete" fronted by the chart-topping bop titled "Breathe."

Prior to their debut as a five-piece act, most members of the group have already become a familiar name among K-pop enthusiasts. Young Min and Dong Hyun comprised the duo MXM after their stint on the talent search-cum-reality show Produce 101 (Season 2). Dae Hwi and Woo Jin, also products of the said program, meanwhile became part of the now-defunct K-pop outfit Wanna One.

Talking about their experiences with their previous groups, Dae Hwi pointed out that their earlier activities are "definitely a big plus" to their current career. "We don't get nervous while performing anymore," he explained.
