BLACKPINK Is One Of The Nominees For 2019 E! People's Choice Awards

The girl group joins other artists such as BTS, Jonas Brothers, Panic! At The Disco, The Chainsmokers, 5 Seconds of Summer, Imagine Dragons, and CNCO in The Group of 2019 category.


In The Music Video of 2019, BLACKPINK's latest track "Kill This Love" is joined by BTS's "Boy With Luv" featuring Halsey, Taylor Swift's "ME!" featuring Brendon Urie of Panic! At The Disco, Billie Eilish's "Bad Guy," Daddy Yankee and Snow's "Con Calma," Ariane Grande's "7 Rings," Sam Smith and Normani's "Dancing With a Stranger," and Shawn Mendes and Camila Cabello's "Señorita."


The Concert Tour of 2019 nominees are BLACKPINK's "BLACKPINK 2019 World Tour (In Your Area)," BTS's "Love Yourself: Speak Yourself," Justin Timberlake's "Man of the Woods," Lady Gaga's "Enigma," Jennifer Lopez's "It's My Party," Ariana Grande's "Sweetener," Cher's "Here We Go Again Tour," and P!nk's "Beautiful Trauma."


Fans can vote in 43 categories representing TV, movies, pop culture, and music. Voting runs until October 18 at 11:59 p.m. ET, through online, Twitter, and for selected categories on Xfinity X1. Each will have to log in using either email or Facebook when voting through the official online voting site.


On Twitter, fans may vote via hashtags: (1) designated category hashtag (e.g., #themusicvideoof2019 and (2) designated nominee hashtag (e.g., #BLACKPINK). Twitter votes will only be counted from Twitter accounts which are public, including an avatar image or profile picture, have more than ten followers, and were created at 24 hours before the time of the voting post.


For Xfinity, fans may vote for only four categories: The Song of 2019, The Movie of 2019, The Comedy Act of 2019, and The Show of 2019, using their X1 set-top box.


The voting limit for each category is 25 points. All votes submitted every Tuesdays - September 10, September 17, September 24, October 1, October 8, and October 15 - will be counted as two votes, which is equal to 50 points.


Previously, BLACKPINK won the "Choice Song: Group" award with their hit song "DDU-DU DDU-DU at the Teen Choice Awards this year, together with BTS and RED VELVET taking home other awards. BLACKPINK is obviously one of the K-Pop groups that have captured the hearts of people not only in Korea but around the world.


Meanwhile, the E! People's Choice Awards will be broadcasted on E! on November 10 at 9 p.m. ET.
