Sunmi has extreme measures for turning down men.

The artist then revealed some of the actions she does when rejecting men who approach her with interest, and also the reason she isn't open to such attention.


Sunmi admitted that a lot of men around her are giving her attention. While it is as expected because of her beauty, Sunmi do otherwise as she doesn't find great interest in them. She shared, "I have had people around me ask me if it would be fine if they would give out my number to others. I say no, which means that I am turning down the interested men. But they will keep asking other people around me."


Because of that, Sunmi simply changes her phone number and tries to prevent having even the slightest possibility for the guys to reach her. Moreover, she would also tell blatant lies to hint that she couldn't give back the same interest they have for them. She said, "If it keeps going, I would just say I have someone, and I am going to get married."


Sunmi also mentioned that men have been sliding in her DMs on social media, as well as phone calls. But Sunmi immediately shuts them down before they can cause her trouble and complications. She stated, "I actually turn them down by not replying to any of those messages.  But some guys send messages frequently, some of which are creepy and scary. That being so, I block them and change my number again."


Afterward, the show hosts asked why Sunmi takes such measures to avoid all those love interests; she directly said answered that she is a go-getter. Thus, it doesn't mean she is not into dating at all, but she wants to be the one to make a move first.


The idol remarked, "If I like someone, I will tell that person. I am serious when dating. I take things long term. So I am not easily attracted to these easy-come-easy-go men."


Recently, Sunmi made a comeback with her self-written track titled "Lalalay," which was released on August 27.
