Officials from several of the agencies of the I.O.I members confirmed that the comeback was delayed. Yeonjung said that she may not join due to promotions with Cosmic Girls. And Somi also announced to be absent because she needs to promote as a soloist under her new agency, THE BLACK LABEL. Yeonjung, Somi, and their labels had continuous communication with, I.O.I and Studio BLU and their possibility of joining are increasing.

I.O.I members and the officials from other agencies said that the delayed comeback is true. They did not decide on the exact date yet but they plan to go back to the K-Pop industry in early or mid-December.

A source from Studio BLU said, "We have re-adjusted the comeback timing for December due to the need to improve the album's completion. We are currently coordinating the exact date of their comeback."

Yeonjung and Somi won't be able to join because they are doing their own promotions so the group's comeback is planned to be just 9 members. They just decided to do this delay due to important reasons, including the need to improve the album's perfection. This delay also brings the possibility that the members will be complete and not just 9 members present in the comeback. Another reason is the hectic schedule of the members.

I.O.I debuted through Mnet's "Produce 101" and was active until January 2017. Since then, the members went on separate ways to work on their activities, until the announcement about their comeback was released this July by Studio Blu.

The members do not want to disappoint their fans so they are doing their best to present the best album. Fans of I.O.I did not expect to hear this good news. They missed I.O.I  and wanted to see more of them. They have been cheering for their idols since their trainee days. Fans were heartbroken when the group disbanded at the end of January 2017. They would love to see all the 11 members perform again on stage. They hope the members will not disband again and everything will work out fine. Now fans have to wait longer to see the group's comeback, but they are willing to wait for their beloved idols.
