GFriend will be returning in Japan with their first full album titled "Fallin' Light"!

In addition, GFriend will be meeting their fans at their '2019 GFriend Asia Tour - Go Go Friend!' on November 17, which will take place in Yokohama.

The six-member girl group made their official debut in Japan on May 23, 2018. Ahead of it, the girls held a press conference and showcase. GFriend performed their hit songs including "Me Gustas Tu," "Rough," Navillera," and others.

On the first day of their official promotions in Japan, the group released a Japanese "Best of" album called "GFriend 1st Best," which is a compilation album. The album debuted at number 10 on the Oricon weekly album chart.

On the 23rd of February this year, 2019, GFriend launched their second Japanese single album titled "Sunrise (JP ver.)/La Pam Pam," which peaked at number 50 on Japan Hot 100. One month after, the group issued their third Japanese single album "Flower/Beautiful." It took the 35th spot on Japan Hot 100 ten days after its release.

Meanwhile, GFriend's latest comeback in Korea is with its seventh mini-album called "Fever Season," which was revealed on July 1, 2019. The album comprises eight tracks including the title track "Fever" and its instrumental version.

With "Fever" GFriend earned a total of six victories in different music shows, thereby obtaining the title of "Grand Slam." This is the second time the girls received such an award after winning this award on several music shows with their second studio album "Time for Us," which was released in January.

Moreover, "Fever" proved the group's talent as it took the 10th place on Billboard's World Albums Chart. And not only with "Fever" did GFriend gained the title "Grand Slam," but also with their previous four tracks - "Rough," "Navillera," "Time For The Moon Night," and "Sunrise."

Currently, the girl group is holding concerts in different cities across Asia for their GFriend second Asia tour called "Go Go GFriend!" They started with two-day shows in Seoul and recently had a performance at NTSU Arena in Taipei, Taiwan last August 31. They will be continuing their tour on November 17 for the last stop, which is in Yokohama, Japan.
