On the recent episode of TMI News, a fortune-teller assessed the facial features of Kang Daniel and TWICE's Jihyo and based their compatibility as a couple on the assessment. 

"People with mandarin duck eyes are simply beloved by their surroundings. They are often friendly, gentle, and warm-hearted," the fortune teller said.

The analyst added that Jihyo's face belongs to the water element, whilst Kang Daniel's face is of the fire element. The two may sound opposite, but the face reader elucidated that their fusion leads to a stimulating, dynamic, and passionate relationship

"Kang Daniel has the face of fire, while Jihyo has the face of the water. They stimulate each other and were probably attracted by that. They're probably having a lot of fun on their dates because they intrigue each other," the fortune teller said.

The couple's fans and die-hard shippers were indeed happy to learn about this positive reading, knowing that they are compatible after all. 

News about Jihyo and Kang Daniel's relationship erupted in early August this year. After Dispatch revealed the news, the couple's agencies confirmed their romance to be true. The news outlet added that an insider confessed that a mutual friend was the one who introduced the would-be couple to each other.

JYP Entertainment and KONNECT Entertainment stated, "They are currently meeting with interest in each other."

Kang Daniel also released his own letter to his fans amidst the issue.

"You may not have been able to focus on anything all day, and I'm worried over whether I'm writing to you too late. I'm very sorry because I couldn't say it beforehand, and also because I'm talking about this in a space that could overflow even if it was just full of the words between all of you and myself. Truly a lot happened before I was able to stand on my own now. There were some really tiring times, but what helped me then was my fans, rather than anything else. I want to tell you this," he said.

The idol expressed his gratitude to his loyal fans that remained supportive of him fully during the times that he was going through some hardships. It will be recalled that he faced legal disputes with his former agency.

"Even during the pain of the long period of no engagements when you couldn't see me and during the times that were difficult due to the speculative talk with malicious intent, you only looked at me. You endured a lot for me and hid your frustration, and you held cafe events full of my photos and put messages of support at subway stations, and I really thank you for that love and support that made me able to stand up again" he shared.

"I want to take care of the hearts of those fans and it's both my role to try to do that and what I want to do. In order to carry out that role, I will become a singer Kang Daniel who always shows you a good image, which I've always considered to be the most important thing," he added.
