Look! These Kpop Idols Are Seen Performing in A Military Event
EXO's Xiumin, Vixx's N, SHINee's Onew, and 2AM's Jo Kwon have been seen rehearsing for a military musical entitled 'Gweehan' that started last September 24. The story is all about the emotional story of Korean soldiers defending their motherland from enemies to preserve freedom.
What's noticeable in the members that are rehearsing is that they are all popular in the Kpop World and they all belong to a group!
Kim Min-Seok, aka Xiumin from EXO started his enlistment on May 7 this year, putting his career status as hiatus as he served as an active-duty soldier. As a sign of discipline and requirement for entering military service, he needs to have a decent haircut that he even shared in his Instagram and Twitter accounts. His co-members even supported him.
Vixx's N started his enlistment on military service this 4th of March, 2019. He even did the same etiquette of what Xiumin did, a decent haircut. N is the Main Vocal and dancer of the South Korean Kpop Group VIXX and now after 7 years from the day he debuted, he has to say a temporary farewell as he fulfills his position in the military because it is mandatory.
The third member is Lee Jin-ki, also known by his stage name as Onew. He belongs to a boy group SHINee that debuted under SM Entertainment. His enlistment is dated back December year of 2017, as fans were sad due to his enlistment. As his pre-debut days, he received a golden opportunity from Lee Soo Man. He got the spotlight because Lee Soo wants to hear him sing and loved it resulting in contracting him as an artist and later debuted as SHINee. He also did the same etiquette as what the first two did, a decent haircut.
The last member that is seen rehearsing is 2AM's, Jo Kwon. He was accompanied by friends on August 6 to enlist, will receive training for five weeks and then continue as an active-duty soldier.
As their military service continues, Xiumin is expected to be discharged on December 6, 2020, N's military discharge is on October 2020, Jo Kwon is on March 24, 2020, and SHINee's Onew on 20th of July, the year 2020.
