EXO's leader Suho, or Kim Junmyeon, is applying himself unto his career as the "Nation's Ambassador" fully lately, it seems. Just today, September 30, the idol-actor has been appointed as the ambassador for the International Film Festival and Awards Macao (IFFAM), alongside the roster of other talented actors and directors.

Suho will be gracing the opening ceremony of the forthcoming festival on December 5 to be held in Macau, as well as the Busan International Film Festival on October 5 as the public relations ambassador for IFFAM.

"I am pleased to participate as the ambassador for the Macau International Film Festival. I'm looking forward to it as an actor," Kim Junmyeon said in regard to his new appointment.

Truly deserving to be chosen for the position, the EXO member has made contributions not just as an idol but also in musicals, films, and dramas. His role in "Student A" (2018) made him the recipient of the "Discovery of the Year Award" from the 15th Jecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) this year. Moreover, his theatre musical acting career also paid off after he received three accolades for his role in "The Man Who Laughs."

In May of 2019, Kim Junmyeon was chosen as the honorary ambassador for the 13th Daegu International Musical Festival, the prestigious week-long event participated by a ton of music lovers across the globe.

Then, in July this year, the EXO's leader was assigned as the honorary ambassador for the 7th Animal Film Festival In Suncheonman. The event ran from August 22 to 26 and screened over 70 films that coincide with the festival's theme, the coexistence of humans, animals, and nature. 

During the ceremony of his appointment, Kim Junmyeon shared he felt happy to play a vital role in the event.

"I am happy and excited to become the ambassador for a film festival that is based on the theme of finding happiness with animals. I have a lot of interest in animals because I've spent so much time with my dog Byul. We all live busy lives, but we all need to think more about nature and animals," he said.

Now, Kim Junmyeon isn't only the guardian of EXO, but him being chosen as the ambassador for the esteemed event also gave him the title as the "guardian angel."

Apart from festivals, Kim Junmyeon is also paving his way as an ambassador for fashion houses. Earlier, he has been named as the ambassador for the Italian luxury brand, Bvlgari, and for the Italian high fashion brand and subsidiary of Prada, Miu Miu.

This leaves us the question: who's doing it like him?
