Areum took to Instagram and posted a handwritten letter. She began her message with, "My dearest fans! I didn't expect that I would be writing you a letter like this. A miracle has happened to us! We shouldn't be the only ones to know about this amazing news, so I am telling it all to you through this letter."

Areum continued her letter saying, "A few days ago, while making preparations for the wedding, we discovered about my pregnancy. Because our child has come to us a little earlier than we expected, we have decided to change the wedding date from next year to October 20 this year. By providing limitless attention and love to our baby, as good parents fundamentally do, we will take care of our child appropriately and excellently."

She ended her message stating, "Concluding, I would want my child to see and experience a pure, clean, and warm world. Please stuff my place with kind words and proper behavior rather than comments or actions that can be distressing when my child grows up and views things."

Areum left a postscript at the end of her letter that reads, "I admire all of the mothers across the globe."

Along with the letter are sonograms of her baby, a picture from her wedding photoshoot, and a video showing the heartbeat of her child.

Han Areum said to a TV Report, "It is my dream wedding, so I wanted to prepare for it thoroughly, but we now have to hurry things up. Despite that, I am just so glad that I am going to be a mother." She added, "It is a precious baby that came to me while we were arranging things for the wedding. I want to become a mother who will give infinite love." She is expected to give birth in May next year.

Furthermore, Areum has also shared images from her wedding photo ops, three of which are her solo shots that display her princess-like visual while the other one is a picture showing Areum and her fiancé with a big smile on their faces. Also, Happy Married Company, the agency that took snaps of Han Areum and her soon-to-be husband, revealed more of the couple's wedding pics together with a note that says, "Han Areum will hold her wedding in Seoul in the afternoon of the 20th."
