Girls' Generation's Taeyeon announced the postponement of the release of her second studio album.

The release of Taeyeon's second studio album "Purpose," initially set to release on Oct 22, has been inevitably postponed to Oct 28, stated SM Entertainment on Girls' Generation's' official SNS site.

"The content release schedule will be announced later on the official website, thank you for understanding." 

Before the release of her second solo album "Purpose" on Oct 22, Taeyeon was scheduled to unveil contents related to the new song, including highlights clips, on its official website, and various SNS Girls' Generation accounts from Oct 14.

However, the label decided to delay the comeback schedule after news broke that labelmate Sulli had passed away.
