BTS is under Big Hit Entertainment has objected to the BTS street project arranged in Daegu, South Korea and closing down in this project for good.

This project proposed a project to create a BTS tourism themed street by the city of Daegu. And to enhance tourism for the town. They discussed plans to commercialize a road near the members' old schools by having BTS themed buses pass by it.

The city of Daegu become a hot spot for foreign people through this project. Especially the areas V and Suga grew up in Daegu. The city wished to create a BTS street project where these two grew up. And the members of BTS come from different areas of South Korea, and none of them are from the capital city Seoul.

Then, Big Hit Entertainment was negative towards the plan and believes these projects should not take place focusing on certain members. It was difficult to continue and the office of Daegu has revealed that the project was shut down due to BigHit's opposition. This company revealed that they have been trying to stop other member's hometowns from creating BTS themed projects as well. This June, A Busan tourism company created a tour that focused on Jimin's hometown of Geumjung and advertised it through social media.

The Northern Daegu office was planning on a themed street on the outskirt of Daegu Health University, around the area of Suga was born. Sidewalks, outer walls, and benches were to be made with a matching BTS-theme. The Western office planned their street around V and had a plan to remodel the daycare center he used to go to into a 'V themed-area' and make the street from the center to his high school. They even met up with the members' parents who are currently living in Daegu.

ARMYs agree with this because it is the right choice, since the streets. It would focus only on certain members, and if any additional problems occurred during the projects and it would have a negative impact on the image of BTS.
