Only a day before the V HEARTBEAT Awards show, MNET cancels X1's appearance. The 11 member group is supposed to attend the live awards show tomorrow. The sudden cancellation has caused an uproar among fans.

Just a few days back, MNET has promised fans that X1 will push through with the V Live Awards show even with the ongoing vote-rigging issue that has caused a lot of tension towards the previous Produce series contestants.

However, today, MNET has officially released a statement saying:

"Hello, this is Mnet. First of all, we are deeply sorry for all the problems and tensions that have arose lately. After much consideration regarding the public and the media's opinions, X1 has decided to skip the "2019 V Live Awards V Heartbeat," which is scheduled tomorrow, November 16. 

Also, as of the moment, the group will take a short break from any promotional or activities. Again, we are deeply sorry to everyone, especially to the fans and the V Live staff."
