On November 18, Pledis Entertainment tweeted an official statement regarding S.Coups health issue.

They said:

"Hello, this is Pledis Entertainment. We would like to notify everyone regarding S.Coups' health status. 
He has recently been experiencing symptoms of psychological anxiety which has interfered with his activities. S.Coups sought medical help and had undergone a thorough medical examination.

As soon as the results went out, doctors advised him to take a break in order to rest and find some sort of stability. 

After discussing it thoroughly with SEVENTEEN and S.Coups, we have come to the decision that he will temporarily be taking a break from all the group's activities.

We regret to inform you about this unfortunate news, but it is our utmost priority to make sure that S.Coup will regain his health and get the best treatments possible.

We also ask all the fans to not jump into conclusions or caus misunderstandings about the issue. We will give more information inf due time.
