Sandara Park, or more popularly known as Dara from 2NE1, posted a tweet regarding 2NE1's status on YG Entertainment.

On November 23, 2NE1 was officially removed from YG Entertainment's official website. The group is no longer found on the company's list of artists. The removal of the group from their website garnered mixed reactions from netizens. Some agreed with the company's decision saying that the group had it coming, while others were dismayed because the group had contributed a lot to the company. Recently, CL didn't renew her contract with the label and was also taken out of YGE's official list.

Dara, furthermore, tweeted that she is no longer connected with YGE. A fan asked her if she was still the director of a particular program in YG, Dara replied "Not true. I quit after 2ne1's disbandment. I only work for my girls."
