After the successful wrapping up of 2019's one of most loved K-drama, "Extraordinary You" starring SF9 Rowoon, Kim Hye Yoon, Lee Jae Wook, and APRIL's Naeun, which is based from famous Webtoon (Korean comics), fans and netizens were anticipating the drama adaptation of "True Beauty" which is currently one of the most popular Webtoon. 

"True Beauty," or also known as "The Secret of Angel," is penned and drawn by Webtoon author, Yaongyi, and it was last year when it was confirmed that the Webtoon would have a Korean drama adaptation. 

According to her, "The drama "True Beauty" will be produced. However, I, too, still do not know the detailed production schedule yet.t I just signed the contract, and I am waiting. I do not know about the casting yet as well."

Also, based on reports, the adaptation will be produced by the company that is behind the success of "Encounter" and "What is Wrong With Secretary Kim?" called BonFactory partnered with Studio N.

Upon this news, Korean and international readers and fans of the Webtoon have shared their desired actors, which they think will fit the role of the characters in the story. 

The online comic book revolves around the story of Jugyeong, which is a 

normal girl who loves reading 'manhwa' and avoids socializing due to his acne problems. However, upon mastering the power of make-up, she transformed into an internet goddess. Suho and Sejun will then met Jugyeong and will be her love interests. If ever, fans will be getting a drama that will be focused on being a beauty Guru and being a Korean idol trainee. 

On the other hand, Cha Eunwoo, a member of ASTRO, is one of the top picks of the webtoon fans to play the role of Suho. Even before the announcement of the remake, netizens noticed the resemblance of their Suho and Eunwoo's visuals, from the face to outfits, as well as the personality. 

In addition to this, fans want BLACKPINK Jisoo to play the role of Jugyeong, wherein the resemblance was also apparent, and fans even edited photos of Jugyeong together with Jisoo to prove the uncanny similarities. 

If the creator and producer make fans' wish to come true, this will be the first drama that the two K-pop idols will be starring together after their drama wherein Eunwoo starred in "My ID is Gangnam Beauty" which is also based on a popular Webtoon while Jisoo makes her first appearance as an actress with Song Joong Ki in "Arthdal Chronicles."

Meanwhile, fans also listed some other K-pop idols who can play the role, such as AOA Seolhyun for Jugyeong, while BTS Jin can also fit for Suho's role. 

Moreover, fans think that Kwon Hyunbin from JBJ is suitable for the role of Sejun, who shared the same looks, a fashionable with excellent singing skills.

Bae Suzy, APINK Naeun, former WANNAONE member Ong and Kang Daniel, NCT (WayV) Lucas, SF9 members, and former X1 member Cho Seungyoun is also mentioned by fans whom they wished to appear in the drama playing the roles of the other casts.
