G-Dragon, the leader and member of the global K-pop group BIGBANG, has proven plenty of times that he is really the "King" not only in Asia but he actually holds a vast influence throughout the world. 

Following the icon's discharge in the military last year in October, Kwon Jiyong, prominently known as GD or G-Dragon, was welcomed with back to back projects and collaborations with luxury and top-rated brands, including Nike. 

GD x Nike has released a limited-edition Nike Air Force 1 'Para-noise' last November 2019, which initially cost 219,000 Won or approximately 180 US Dollars. Upon the pre-selling, the limited-edition sneaker sold out immediately. 

Due to the amount of love and support and the fans' thirst for GD's shoe, not only did the price doubled, but the price was multiplied 15 times, making it 2 to 5 Million Won per pair, or 1,700 to 4,200 when converted to US Dollars.

Dedicated fans were not taken aback by the price though, and the sneakers all sold out in an instant. And not just his loyal supporters or VIPs, but a number of idols also patronized his Nike shoes, including his close friend and actress Park Shin Hye, EXO's leader Suho and rappers and unit members Sehun and Chanyeol, Sistar's Soyou, and many more.

A signed version was even released, selling out for a price of 13 Million Won or 11,000 US Dollars, and in a span of a short time, it was out of stock. 

Currently, a resale stock was posted on the official website of Nike, wherein G-Dragon's Air Force 1 Low PEACEMINUSONE 'Para-Noise' is available again in the market. However, the resale price will shock you, for it can literally buy a small house or a car! 

The sneaker's price is now priced at 25 Million Won (21,000) US Dollars, or when converted to Asian countries' currencies, it worth a Million, proving that G-Dragon is a real icon to fashion. 

Meanwhile, the version of the sneakers which is being sold at a price is the version with the yellow logo, the version that is exclusive only to close friends of G-Dragon and has the symbol of a "Marguerite or Daisy," a flower that means "pearl."

It was noted that G-Dragon gave every version and three pairs of the 'Paranoise' sneakers to his long-time friend and co-label Sandara Park, the female celebrity that fans have been rooting for him to become his girlfriend in real life. Fans were also teasing the idols as the two pairs of sneakers Dara had received were customized by GD, one with "DA RA" written on one pair and "I don't caIR" on the other pair, a way of GD to say Dara is special.

Several dating rumors have been written about them, proving that they were a couple, but the artists haven't given their statement about it yet. 

On the other hand, BIGBANG has renewed their contracts with YG Entertainment. Now that they're complete, VIPs are expecting new music soon, to which the agency assured that a significant comeback should be anticipated.

The quartet may also perform in the much-anticipated annual Coachella, which was rescheduled in October this year due to concerns regarding the coronavirus outbreak.
