Ex-Wonder Girls Members Call Lim Right After She Revealed Her 7-year Relationship to Public
Former Wonder Girls' member Lim and taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul made their first appearance as a pair on MBC's romance entertainment program Real Love Story on April 6.
Lim and Shin Min Chul were seated together in a café during this show after both parties have agreed to go public with their 7-year relationship. Lim couldn't conceal her anxiety, because this was the first instance she ever went public with her long term relationship throughout her entertainment career.
Reading about her and Shin Min Chul in a story, Lim said, "It feels as if I'm dreaming. It's unbelievable." Lim got a phone call from her former co-member Yenny, about ten minutes after the couple's relationship announcement was made! Yenny also did point out to Lim, after complimenting the couple on the press release, as a close unnie, "Making it public ... it will sometimes be hard."
Lim then received another phone call from Yubin, another former fellow bandmate! Lim accepted, "Miss President!" as she is as of now being contracted under Yubin's new agency as an artist.
Then, the taekwondo athlete Shin Min Chul also tried to check his mobile, full of his friends' texts. A friend immediately contacted Shin Min Chul and proved how close they were by throwing curses instantly after he picked up.
Shin Min Chul's peer sternly said, "I sincerely cannot believe this. You know, I was concerned about you. I thought you never saw any women, practicing your taekwondo kicks all the time, but it turned out that you saw someone so privately! For seven years long!"
Shin Min Chul later delighted Lim with a sweet bunch of flowers marking her first day as a public celebrity couple. The bouquet led Lim to sobs, after which Shin Min Chul promised, "Starting from this day forward, I will treat you even better."
Prior to their guesting, the couple was already reported by XSportsNews to appear on the MBC show.
Although for the last seven years Lim still hasn't gone public with her relationship, those reasonably close to her, including her supporters, have already recognized that Lim and Shin Min Chul have been steadily dating!

Shin Min Chul is the head of a top intense taekwondo squad known as Mirme Taekwondo and is the extreme taekwondo performer. He is considered one of Korea's leading taekwondo demonstrating performers, also active as a member of the national taekwondo demonstration party, and has received numerous awards in tourneys for martial arts.
Lim became an active member of Wonder Girls in 2010. Her exclusive arrangement with JYP Entertainment officially ended in January of this year, and she agreed formally to sign on under RRR Entertainment, an independent label founded by her former Wonder Girls member Yubin.
