On April 7, News1 stated Yoon Hak encountered a woman (called "A") who operates in an adult entertainment facility in Gangnam on March 26. It has been confirmed that on March 29, she started to develop COVID-19 symptoms, and on April 2, she was confirmed with COVID-19.

Yoon Hak's spokesperson also informed Newsen, "It is correct that the 'A' adult entertainment employee, which has been positively screened, is an associate with Yoon Hak, but only interacted elsewhere. Yoon Hak has visited no adult entertainment institution."

On March 24, Yoon Hak arrived from Japan, and on March 27, he experienced the first symptoms of COVID-19. On March 31, he went to the hospital. Then, on April 1, he tested positive for the virus. He is currently undergoing medication for minor symptoms at a medical center.

Moreover, Yoon Hak is currently facing backlash after coming back from abroad for not completing two weeks in quarantine, sources claim.

Further sources report that COVID-19 has also been confirmed with a roommate and co-worker of "A." It has been stated that "A" is the 44th confirmed case in Gangnam. In contrast, the 51st case (hereafter referred to as "B") is her roommate and co-worker at the adult entertainment establishment, both of whom are in their early to mid-30s. When "A" was treated, "B" went into self-quarantine. Even when she was initially given a negative test result on April 2, a second test returned on April 6 with a definite diagnosis.

Some sources have reported that after physical interaction with Yoon Hak, "B" also acquired COVID-19. The Korea Economic Daily, nonetheless, argues that information from Seoul city and Gangnam district has indicated that this was attributed to such an inconsistency in the original data put out by the town and the Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The references implied that the 44th case ("A") of Gangnam obtained COVID-19 from Yoon Hak, and the 55th case ("B") is accused of contracting it from "A."

"A" reportedly continued to work at the adult entertainment establishment from March 27 through the next morning after interacting with Yoon Hak on March 26. She went into self-isolation on March 29, when she first noticed symptoms. According to KBS, throughout that shift, Gangnam District and epidemiological investigators are polling all the workers and visitors at the institution. The establishment is stated to be very large, with more than 100 employees, and more than 500 guests employed on the day "A" was uncertain of having contracted COVID-19.

SPOTV News announced on April 3 that on April 1, Yoon Hak has been infected with the novel coronavirus.

Following the announcement, a spokesperson stated, "Yoon Hak was infected with COVID-19 on April 1 after arriving in Korea on March 24 following his single promotional activities in Japan."

The source added, "Actually, Yoon Hak is admitted and undergoing treatment. His symptoms are relatively mild. He must concentrate on recovery and recuperation. All tests came back negative for his boss, stylists, and other staff members."
