In one of her overseas appearances, particularly in the Philippines, Dara was thrown several questions relating to the BIGBANG member. The interviewer was curious about the real score between him and her. It was an uncomfortable state, but she tried her best to reply to all those queries.
"Are you close with G-Dragon," the host initially asked. "Yes, we are all close because we are YG family," Dara explained. As it is known, both are from the same label, YG Entertainment.

The questioning went on, "So you both are close, how close exactly?" She then detailed-out that they have been friends for ten years during the said interview. YG Trainees move in the same circle, and typically, these idols would bond even before they debuted.
But along the course of the conversation, Dara might have said an honest answer, yet for many Daragon fans, it might be something of an off as a response. She continued, "He is like my baby brother." The audiences were stunned for a moment, knowing that she sounds like an unnie instead of a honey.
