ONO Entertainment responded to the Yoon Hee Seok controversial post from LIMITLESS about dropping out from the band.

Yoon Hee Seok took his sentiments to his Instagram on May 24 to post, "I no longer want to live my life anymore as the Yoon Hee Seok of LIMITLESS but as the Yoon Hee Seok man. This might sound surprising but I decided to just let the fans know who was concerned after not hearing and knowing anything from me since the promotional activities last December. I am so sorry. I deeply appreciate all those who up to now have given me their love and undying support."

Yoon Hee Seok has already disabled the personal Instagram profile. In approach to the situation ONO Entertainment decided to release a public announcement on May 25.

"Our contract arrangement with Yoon Hee Seok was not terminated, but there were no issues with the deal. At this moment, we were bound to be in the midst of Japanese promotional activities but because of the COVID-19 circumstance, the members are leaning back at their residential households. In the middle of that, Yoon Hee Seok unexpectedly decided to post regarding leaving the band on social sites, and did not immediately respond to our attempts to reach him."

Yoon Hee Seok rendered his initial TV appearance as a trainee for Jellyfish Entertainment on Mnet's "Produce 101 Season 2." He decided to leave Jellyfish after the series finished, and agreed to sign with ONO Entertainment, made its debut in 2019 in their new boy band LIMITLESS.

LIMITLESS already had their return with "Wish Wish" in November 2019.

Netizens are quick to predict and speculate theories behind the real reason on why Yoon Hee Seok was quick to drop his fame and just live as an ordinary person as he was claiming to his statement.

"I just hope he's okay."

"The issue here is a mental disorder, maybe depression, or he just no longer wants a celebrity living. I believe if that is the case ONO should let him go. I know it's going to be a loss because of what they compensated him for his celebrity experience, but it's best to set him free so that he can do whatever he desires."

"Obviously Ono did not train him, he came to pd101 and afterward abandoned jellyfish to make his debut with Jang mon bok, but Ono did not in fact invest in him. He also had fans contributing funds to pay for the costs of the latest album (and introducing additional members simply out of the blue as though the company could hardly invest on four of them)."

"I'm not knowledgeable with the band, however, when, after such a response like that, even the agency can't keep track of the artist, it is terrifying. I very much hope he's all right, and if it's connected to a certain time of the emotional or psychological problem, the firm will let him go.  While realistically his unlikely he can get off without even being held responsible for the costs spent on training him, that leaves me more worried about the artist. I hope it all goes well."
