TWICE Breaks Record by Surpassing 100,000 Pre-Orders on Ktown4u With "MORE & MORE"
On June 1, the South Korean girl group TWICE officially surpassed 100,000 pre-order sales for their comeback album, "MORE & MORE!"
According to the official website of Ktown4u, an official site selling K-pop albums and merchandise, it counted in Domestic charts revealed that TWICE mini-album Vol. 9, "MORE & MORE," already exceeded 100,00 pre-order sales on this day.
According to reports, TWICE now breaks the history and K-pop girl group records in Ktown4u, being the first K-pop girl group to have written this achievement, selling out more than 100,000 pre-order copies.
Due to this, ONCEs are already expressing their anticipation and excitement, as it was already expected that TWICE's major comeback would surely become a bop! Through various social media platforms, fans and netizens are conveying their cheer messages and support to the female members with the hashtags, #MoreandMore, and #TWICE.
In addition to their achievement, prior to their album release, TWICE also broke records by becoming the first K-pop girl group to cross 5 million sales in Korea and also became the only girl group to exceeds 8 million album sales. This is not to mention that they are currently the first third generation's girl group who holds the record of becoming a half-million sellers.
Meanwhile, JYP Entertainment, the TWICE agency, released a video on its official social media accounts on June 1, in commemoration of TWICE nearing comeback release.
In the video, TWICE said, "(ONCEs), Everyone, have a cool summer listening to TWICE's songs," asking for the new song's expectations from fans.
The girl group welcomes everyone wearing their outfits resembling goddesses. Though, it is expected that "MORE & MORE" is a summer song, fans especially ONCEs, the fandom of the group can't help but think if what's going to be the concept of TWICE new track.
Due to this, JYP released a special song teaser, featuring the tropical sound and refreshing vocals of the members, accompanied by an upbeat rhythm.
TWICE's new song "MORE & MORE" will be released after nine months since their recent album, "Feel Special," which was dropped in September 2019.
Aside from the fact that this is their first album this year, fans and netizens are also excited as Mina will participate in their album promotion since JYP Entertainment held her schedules with TWICE to focus on her mental health recovery.
To commemorate this comeback, the TikTok dance challenge "#moreandmoretwice" will be launched as soon as the new song is released. Moreover, at 8:00 p.m. KST, TWICE's "MORE & MORE" SPECIAL LIVE will broadcast online through Naver V LIVE and YouTube to communicate with fans and join the celebration of their most-awaited return.
